Modern Condo Restoration
After a fire in the restaurant below caused significant damage to all second-floor units, this Central West End condo—originally used by the client as a workspace—required a complete renovation. When she engaged our team, we refined the existing floor plan, guided the final material selections (including flooring, tile, cabinetry, countertops, hardware, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and paint), and oversaw every aspect of the finish work.
Meticulous attention was given to even the smallest design details, from color-coordinated electrical devices to painting exposed electrical conduit in matte black for a cohesive, modern aesthetic. The kitchen and bath feature custom cabinetry in a mix of stained maple and painted slab doors, while the hall and rear entry lighting are semi-custom pieces tailored to the space. Original architectural elements such as the open ceiling and exposed brick were preserved to maintain the building’s character.
The renovated condo is currently listed on the market as a flexible live/work space.
